Salt Lake City Street Walkers

Stop, Look and Observe
Twenty Minutes Later ...

By virtue of living up in Salt Lake, I think it is only logical that I take the opportunity to snap a few pictures in the great Salt Lake City. And it was during this photojournalism-adventure that I realized that SLC in late morning is really pretty quiet for a "big" city. Since the landscape of the city, particularly temple square, has  already been so well-documented I thought I would capture what it's like to walk the streets and wait around in a quiet, gray and slow kind of Salt Lake day.

I tried to capture gray, quietness of the day, the hum of the trax train and the beeping of traffic signals.

I utilized the rule of thirds in my pictures to portray and achieve composition in my images that would give them a little bigger feel and give a sense of what it's like to travel around Salt Lake City.
