Young Love: You'll always remember your first love.

The idea of young love has been around for centuries. The story of Romeo and Juliet has given young lovers a form of hope for hundreds of years. Over the weekend we had some friends come and visit from Phoenix. They have a daughter that is around 4 months younger then our son. Our families decided to take the kids to the park to allow them to burn off a little steam, and what blossomed into young love.
Holding hands and looking into each others eyes.
What ensued was the traditional love story. Love at first sight, this is the most important step in any love story. When a couple first meets, one of the two falls in love right away. This leads to an endless pursuit of their love.
The longing for the love of their life.
This leads to the chase. The chase is when the lover shows their worth and desire to be together. The pursuit doesn't end until the chaser gets a date.
She said YES!!!!
Finally, you get the chased to consent to go on a date. Its not easy, and more often then not they are rather reluctant to accept. Once they say yes, the date planning begins. The date has to be a perfect mix of getting to know you time and fun.
Something family friendly is usually the best choice.
Within the last 50 years the perfect first date has become a movie, sometimes including dinner before hand. Once you have secured the date, the love will hopefully blossom. Once the love has blossomed you must get the approval of the in-laws to pursue any further in the relationship.
You have to do anything to gain the father-in-laws trust.
Getting the fathers approval can be one of the scariest moments for a young lover. If they say no, you are left with trying to pursue your love without family approval or give up on the endeavor. If you do get the approval, then the true love will lead to happily ever after.
