Maybe it's something OCD in me, but I just kept going back to the timeline idea when trying to tell my life story. It just feels more comprehensive (even though there are probably much more comprehensive ways to describe me, I just haven't thought of them). I guess one thing I learned about myself as a result is that even in creative projects, I often inherently crave cohesion and order. My left brain often wants to tag along with the right, even when the right brain wants to work alone.
