Brady Making His Way Downtown

"Take 5 pictures of downtown Provo and write a paragraph about what perspective you gained from the images."

Friday, my brother and I grabbed our Canon Rebel EOS, hopped on his moped, and went down Center street. It was cool, finding new sides to the buildings I've been by before. I've eaten at Gloria's a half dozen times, but had no idea the block was called Knight Block. The architecture looks sweet in the right light, and having to deliberately find new ways of viewing the city provided new angles of old things.
There are networks of connecting halls and rooms behind most of the buildings on Center st., and venturing behind them, finding the slow but certain evidence of the gentrification our city embraces but resists was incredible. We're able to find new things out of old locations. While we need to adapt and change, what once was has a ton to offer.
