Downtown Deserving

From my pictures I learned that if you were an outsider, you’d think these pictures were taken in LA or some other big, highly populated metropolis. And in a way Downtown Provo is a just like any other downtown scene because it is subject to the masses of people who go through a popular area and therefore trash and abuse the area. It’s also similar to other cities because it has similar features and a city-like personality. These characteristics include street lights, brick buildings, sky-scrapers, trash (as mentioned), graffiti, chalked walls, weathered signs, and many different stores all together in one breath. In summation, Downtown Provo deserves the label “downtown” because, when viewed with the right eye, you can see the characteristics of other downtown cities.
