Just some of Provo's secrets

The only times I've really ever been to downtown Provo have happened while driving in my car. It's not every day that you just get out and explore unfamiliar territory, but I sure am glad that I had the opportunity to. My roommate and I went for a late night scooter ride to explore downtown, and I discovered so much about Provo just in the hour we were there. The first thing we came across (after going down a back-alley) was Guru's with its graffiti wall. I was intrigued by what I saw and wondered what purpose this graffiti wall was there to serve. Next up, I came across an electric car charger as we rode through the Marriott hotel parking garage. I had never seen one of these before and was honestly quite intrigued by it. After heading down another back-alley, I saw a basketball hoop in a rather random location. But this was no ordinary basketball hoop--this basketball hoop had no rim! I wondered why a basketball hoop with no rim would remain up, since you couldn't use it for what it's made for. After that, we came across an old school VW van, which appears to be a delivery van for Foxglove, who sell flowers and other things. This caught my eye because it's not a frequent thing to see such an old vehicle, especially being used as a delivery van. Then, on the way back, we passed a banner for Red Deli, which indicated they had the "world's best subs and fries," which is quite a claim. I have never even heard of Red Deli, but such a claim seems intriguing and makes me wonder if it is one of Provo's best kept secrets or simply somebody trying to reel in customers with their stretch-advertising. Overall, this adventure was one that left me more cultured and more familiar with Provo, and was quite enjoyable!
