provo center street - sebastian meyer

I am a night person. I like how different everything looks when its dark out compared to when it is light. I think most things are designed and built with daylight in mind, and nighttime is a secondary thought. So buildings and places end up taking a very different appearence at night. For my assignment, I looked for interesting interactions of light and dark. I found that restaurants have a lot of fun light appearences at night. The colors of menus and signs against the darkness made for some really nice scenes. I think looking at Center Street at night when I am so used to seeing it in the day helped me see a lot of things that I may not have been so quick to notice before.
