I used the elements of proximity to create the American flag. I love the idea of a bunch of things coming together can be greater than what they could on their own (that's the whole concept of the saints in the Church). The whole notion of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness individually are less powerful than combined together - that's part of what makes America, America. So I just visualized it here. :)
I really like you're thinking and how you relate it to your design. I'm not sure if the flag element comes through-it's kind of there, but might be a stretch
