I used the Gestalt principle of closure to portray the phrase "outside looking in." I feel like it simulates half opened blinds and says that someone from the outside might not be able to see the whole story of or understand the person on the inside.
I like the simple design. I really like the notion of "looking in". maybe that would be more clear if the whole image looked like a windowsill somehow -just a thought
