Top to bottom:
-deep and light shades of blue, texture of cloud lines, bird size because of distance, like a modern art canvas
-the storks on top of the churches, convents, cathedrals make for Alcalá's own unique gargoyles
-even though the stream bed here lacks it's water coloring, the yellow fences in the center add contrast, and point the same direction water would flow (so like new water)
-two stray white cats sitting on benches equidistant from the tree, there's one brown cat to the right of the tree, he/she blends in
- the bed sheet lines draw your eyes to the deep blue sketchbook cover, and its different pages in shadow and groupings, the darker color from the sweater and computer keeps the whole work unique and not monotonous (not all white with some blue centered)
