All the things you could do on a swing set

When thinking of what I could do for this creative assignment I started by thinking of simple activities that you could do any day such as cooking, cleaning, reading, brushing your teeth, riding a bike, or swinging on a swing set.
I chose to focus on the fun, simple motion of swinging and thought about how I could entertain myself if I had nothing but own physical body and a swing.  I came up with multiple ways you could position yourself on a seat and swing back and forth.  I then broadened my perspective and began to look at the bigger picture and tried different ways to position myself not only on the swing but on the bars and overall apparatus of a swing set.
My ideas then continued to envision things you could do on a swing set with more than one person.  So I got several dancers together and began to put place them in different positions to create unique images on the swing set and even had them moving and dancing not only on and around the swing set but through it, underneath it, and over it.  It was a really interesting experience to realize that you can create so much just by starting with something so simple!
The first picture is of just one girl on doing the basic motion of moving back and forth and the bottom picture is of the different positions I had the girls in while one girl is dancing in the front.  It was hard getting a good picture of this because in almost all of them someone is moving, but hopefully the idea is visible and you can see what I was creating.  It was a fun assignment that made me realize that I may be more creative than I originally thought!
