Perspectives

I sit with my brother in the library (no shhh zone) for five minutes. I had the theory that we would see the same things because we have similar personalities.
It turned out my list was really short because I got distracted because I have ADD. I wrote a few simple things like: guy wearing a blue shirt reading a book, couple talking, and girl checking her grades on learningsuite. Then, there was a male student watching soccer so I got distracted by it and started watching the match. On the other hand, my brother's list had a detailed description of everything he saw. He wrote the brands people were wearing, color of their watches and their facial expressions.
I concluded that my perspective was different from my brother's because he is more detail oriented than I am so he payed close attention to things I did not notice. I tent to see things superficially so I do not spend a long time looking at things so I do not get bored. I learned two basic things with this exercise: my brother's perspective is different from mine; and my ADD affects a little the way I see things around me.
