Jennifer Frost 46-161-5360 Perception assignment
List #1
*Gray clouds in the sky
*Clouds are not distinguished shapes but rather a big blanket with different shades of gray
*The JFSB looks cold
*The grayness casts gray on to everything that speeds the walk of people. No one is intentionally staying outside.
*Hence, the cement design that lots of people sit on are vacant
*The colors on the trees are changing more, still very green but getting yellow
a few small puddles where the cement is uneven and water pools together
*The grass is dying as more people are taking short cuts to get inside faster or possibly because school is getting more hectic and they are on a tighter schedule.
*The freshman look especially young
*not as many couples
*Too many people are looking at their phones instead of each other and those who are not looking at it, a lot of them have it in their hand. A generation of lots of technology
*this fall is more colorful- the mountains are gorgeous right now after the wet rain but also pants are in a wider array of colors than normally seen.
List #2
*outfits, more long sleeve and coats
*Those wearing shorter sleeves were optimistic about the weather
*Students look happy
*Several students know each other and exchange greetings
*Student body seems older, lots of married couples or at least lots of people with rings on their fingers.
*Smiles
*brisk walking
*skinny jeans must be really in
*Backpacks
*Side bags must be coming more preferred
*Lovers embrace and continue on their way in hand. Is BYU more affectionate then other universities?
*I am cold.
* I really like my outfit today and I notice that a lot of other girls are wearing similar things. This fits in to what we learned in class about 'uniforms.' We do not like school uniforms but yet we buy a different type of 'uniform' to help us feel accepted.
Seems list #1 started looking up when list#2 kept at eye level.
