People Watching

This assignment was very interesting. A friend and I sat in the Wilk quad and observed people for ten minutes. It was interesting to compare our notes after. He perceived individual people and what they were doing and what he thought they might be thinking about by how they were acting. Meanwhile, my perception focused on similar things going on that I never recognized. For instance, I recognized a lot of girls wearing spotted backpacks which I had never recognized before. You could tell the students who were in the business program because they were all dressed up. Those who had gym classes had athletic bags along with their backpack. I also recognized that almost everyone eating outside in the quad area had pizza from the Cougareat and nothing else. The people who had Chic-Fil-A were always on the go, which I found very interesting. Those were just a few of the things that I perceived and it was pretty cool.
