For this project I decided to make a logo for my non-profit organization, Tell My Story. I wanted my vibe to be somewhat natural, earthy and simple, to reflect my goal of instilling self-worth in the lives of young, underprivileged children around the world. I came up with a palette based on earthy shades through Kuler. Simply adding black to the different hues, gave me a selection of cohesive yet different colors to work with. When it came time to design my graphic, I created the shades I wanted by adjusting the CMKY of each base in a program called SketchBookExpress on my Macbook. I love the simplicity of the palette and the feeling the colors convey.
