After watching the TED talk video in class and seeing how creative the artist had been, I wanted to be creative too!  I liked several of his ideas, but the one that stuck with me, was the painting of the Mona Lisa with hamburger grease.  The reason I liked this idea was because he took something very classy (The Mona Lisa) and re-created it with something very "unclassy" (the hamburger grease).  So I wanted to do something contrasting for my project.  So I took something healthy - a watermelon, and made it appear to be something unhealthy, like a cake!  You should have seen my poor roommates reaction when he discovered the truth!
