We Tried Light Painting.

After heading up to the Rooftop Concert Series to get a few clips for my advertising application, the group I was with put the two and two together of 1) leftover glowsticks and 2) a good camera with a tripod and shutter release, and we headed up to Rock Canyon Park to try to get some silhouetted light painting. Problematically, there was so much light pollution from the surrounding street lights that we couldn't quite get what we were looking for - we wanted light trails without us in the picture, but no dice. As it was getting late, we did the best we could with bad conditions and took funny group photos by lamplight. A half second exposure and a really fast aperture took care of business and turned the night to eery day. Lesson learned: If you want to do decent light painting, get out of the city.
