This design I made is represents closure and proximity. When looking at the whole picture it looks like a smiley face you might see on a jack-o-lantern with an arrow going through it. But really it is just three rounded lines and a triangle grouped together to make it look like it is one whole unit of a smiley face. Our brain uses this closure to make this picture into something.
















This image shows the concept of figure ground. We see that it spells spooky but the two "O's" are also eyes. But we still see it as spelling spooky. This could also be closure as well.
