Gestalt knows what's up.

This picture is a good example of the principle of closure. Our brains perceive that we are not seeing a separate image placed in the middle of the resume, but rather we see a chunk removed from the piece of paper, allowing us to see the rest of the image that is obscured by the piece of paper.

This is the gestalt image that I created, using the principles of continuation to make the viewer's eye travel in a certain trajectory and also using proximity to make several unrelated shapes placed on a white background appear to be related one to another.
