This color exercise was sweet. I’ve actually, as weird as it sounds, been using circles in designs a lot lately. There is something really pleasing to me about seeing different sized circles spaced nicely around a page. I chose these different shades and tones because they felt soft, friendly and like candy. I was pretty hungry at the time, and I was thinking about the holidays. It’s interesting how these colored dots make me think of so many things.

I made this little image in Adobe InDesign. I used an RGB color profile because I know that it would appear best on the web.I used the Kuler extension to create a compound color scheme. 

I like it. I even set it as my phone background.
