I decided that I would try to create something with food and I guess I was in a patriotic mood or something because I decided to make an American flag pizza.  Since this meal was to also have a dessert I decided to combine both a regular pizza and a dessert pizza to create the American flag.  

I used a cream cheese frosting and a blueberry drizzle to create the blue and white stars, and then the cheese and pepperonis to create the stripes. The real creative part came when it was time to put it all together.  I had forgotten to pick up a bag of cheese but then realized that I had some string cheese available and it worked perfectly.

I already enjoy cooking but I really enjoyed this experience because it allowed me to try something different.  It may not be a piece of art from the looks of it, but it was something that I was able to create.
