Composition Assignment: Lord Vader's confession.

Following the rule of thirds, Darth Vader's head as well as the lines of text all pass through intersecting points. This gives the first line of text sort of a cool effect as it runs right into Vader's line of vision. The second line of text seemed to be needed in order to balance out the image more. Without it there seemed to be too big of an empty space in that bottom left-hand corner.

The color gradients used on the text are from colors based on the color scheme of the image as a whole. I used the Orator Std font because it's strong, easy to read, but works well with the color gradient to give the meaning of the image a softer touch. I changed the character spacing as well so that the text fit more cleanly.

Originally this was meant to be an intimidating image of Vader, but with the text I tried to change that and convey a more sad, humble connotation. I hope it worked!
