Subject/Background: Yeah it's a statue photo (ugh). But I tried to position good ol' Maeser with the rule of thirds so that he's looking towards the extending path towards campus, along with the mountains looking down on campus from the background as well.
Point of View: I wanted to show the emptiness of finishing a box/bowl of cereal, with the circles symbolizing empty holes as well as completeness. The bird's eye point of view also makes the objects look dominated. The white objects (bowl/milk) and blue objects (box/cap) balance each other, as well as the circles (bowl/cap) doing the same.
Balance: Hopefully this one is apparent. The bicycles on either side balance each other, much like the trees, although they may be different.
