Photography/composition

Subject/foreground
I really like to take pictures where the image encourages you to see past something. In this picture I put the foreground out of focus so that your eyes are drawn to the subject of the picture(the fan blade) which is behind it. 

Point of view
My point of view shot was from the perspective of the itsy bitsy spider crawling up the water spout. This also happens to be a great balance picture because the high contrast and darker colors of the building are offset by a larger portion of open sky. 


Balance
This picture is balanced. The placement of the Leninade is along the left third of the picture. The right half of the picture is dominated by washed blue denim. The larger amount of faded blue balances with the smaller brightly colored bottle.
