Photography/Composition Assignment

Point of View: Watching friends play "Just Dance" from a different perspective. Its definitely not as amusing as watching them all full body, but its still an interesting picture and perspective. To take this photo I laid down and placed the camera on the floor so that you would see the carpet coming out of the camera.

Subject/Background: The bright red teapot is the subject and the background is the stove and kitchen. I zoomed in really close to the teapot so that everything else behind it would blur making the teapot a very clear focal point. I made sure to have the teapot on the side of the photo so that you could still see the background of the kitchen behind it.

Balance: Unfortunately the colors looked way better in person, but you can get the main idea from the photo. The colors of the sky compared to the building and darker grass made some awesome contrasts of light and dark to balance the photo. The photo is also split into 3 sections - the sky, building, and grass/courtyard. The flag rising up into the sky does sort of create an asymmetrical balance but the mountain and clouds pointing up on the other side help to balance it out some.
