Symmetry in all things

My example that I got for Bilateral symmetry was this photo that I took of Stewart's falls this weekend. I liked the way that the water had carved out the rock in a very symmetrical form, and then the way that it was falling also had symmetry.

I decided to use this photo of a beautiful piece of ceiling art that I found this weekend. This photo demonstrates radial symmetry, with all of the pieces of the window radiating out from the center. The entire ceiling is actually domed, continuing the symmetry from the window.

I chose this as an example for asymmetry because of the angle that I took the shot, it made the stairs appear to be at an angle, but the overall composition still has balance.
