Symmetry

This photo has unique bilateral symmetry. I thought it was interesting how the lines run both horizontally and vertically, allowing for engaging visuals.

This is asymmetrical but still achieves balance through the contrast in light. There are aspects of bilateral symmetry found in the windows and the columns.

The main focus of this picture was the benches and the trees. They give a good sense of balance even though some other elements in the composition aren't symmetrical.
