Take a Shot

This first photo utilizes the the rule of thirds to make the composition more interesting. And it does! Much more so than if his face was in the middle of the shot. 




This photo is looking up from the bottom of the staircase in the JFSB. I utilized both the rule of thirds and the radial symmetry that makes this staircase so beautiful. 


Then here is some beautiful fall foliage. Again using the rule of thirds, the berry/nut is the focus of the picture. It and the leaves immediately surrounding it occupy the right half of the picture. The other portion of the tree included in the photo is out of focus and more distant -- it occupies the left half of the photo, utilizing an asymmetrical composition.
