I enlisted the help of my best friend to find accidental art. This is what we found: a stain on the sidewalk. It doesn’t seem like much, but we spent probably 5 minutes talking about what this stain looked like. I thought it looked like a turtle or a really fat baby. He thought it looked like a tick or the android symbol. We decided it was actually subliminal product placement for android and that this accidental art was on purpose.
What a concept. I bet a creative advertiser could get their product noticed if they strategically created what appeared to be accidental art but in reality was an advertisement. This could create that "aha" moment that would cause consumers to remember the product and share the advertisement with friends.
