I call this "Niagra Stairs". Why travel cross country when you can get the same gasping affect right here in Provo? There is beauty all around us! It is an exciting thing when God reaches his mighty hand down and shows us things that are unexpected and magnificent. The overwhelming storm left us all asking, "where did that come from?" But we are certain of this, God holds the power, it's up to us to notice the majesty. How awesome that everyday objects, like stairs, can have such hidden beauty. For instance, every time I am forced to climb the devilish stairs leading to campus I think of a famous love song from Top Gun - "Take My Breath Away", and chuckle at the thought of that song being inspired by these stairs. Although I don't think it was, it still is an amusing quip to think about what things inspire others to create.
