As I sit here trying to come up with a word to define all 5 of my pictures, I realize it can't be done. Downtown Provo isn't just the "doing really well" and the "severely out of business." There are seemingly successful businesses and churches that I had never seen before. Businesses with flags and marquees begging for a glance, that I have never paid attention to. There are also hidden treasures that couldn't care less if they're discovered. Paintings and poems I had to walk down deserted alleys to find. Decrepit markings that must have meant something to someone at sometime. All within reach, right here in downtown Provo.
