DO YOU WANT FREE CAFE RIO? Yes.

We, as college students, are often quite uncreative when it comes to the obtaining and making of food—even though we face near-starvation sometimes. Within our lifetime cars have become hybridized, the human genome has been mapped and CD’s have gone extinct. Yet we are STILL EATING the same old cereal and milk, or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that we ate when we were 3. We take the same old trips to the same old store to buy and eat the same old food.

This weekend I was on a creative quest to get food—good, Mexican food—through Facebook.

Facebook is a technology that I use all the time and food is something that I look for all the time. So here's how I was creative...

I found this Café Rio picture of delicious food with this caption that taunted me:

“Free Meal Friday Contest: Who is the best football team?

We will pick only ONE winner this time. The person who gets the most l                 Likes on their post (by Monday) wins a free football catering package                       for 20 people to use at your next game day party!”

Guess whose comment WON!? :) Go cougaaaars! Go Cafe Rio!

I sprinted around the Facebook world, as well as the real world, to tally up likes and win this contest! And it worked!

Then on Sunday, I had a spiritually creative moment/slap to the face. "Peter, you don't need 20 persons worth of food. Who really needs it?"

Now, I am on the search for a mini humanitarian project. Feed the masses (or at least 20 of them) with Cafe Rio! What hungry souls DESERVES FREE CAFE RIO? I'm open to ideas.
